Project Manager’s Role

The role of a Project Manager is to supervise the total construction effort to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.  This includes interfacing with client representatives and/or Architect/Engineer representatives.  They will also provide technical assistance in interpretation of drawings, and recommendation of construction methods and equipment as required.  A Project Manager is responsible for overall quality of the project and acceptance by the owner.

Blake Trnka

Project Manager

Blake Trnka has over 13 years in construction experience, 5 of which have come at CBS.  Blake studied Architecture at Metro State University in Denver, CO and has worked on a variety of projects, ranging from $500,000 to $200 million. He is certified in CPR, fall protection, scaffolding, fork and boom lifts, including others.

Mitch McCoy

Project Manager

Mitchell McCoy has over 15 years invested in the construction industry, starting in the trades as a carpenter. His determination to progress in the construction industry led him to Colorado State University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management and a minor in Business.
Mitchell’s project experience is quite diverse, ranging from home remodels to ground up hospitals and ranging from $50,000 to $600M in construction budgets. Mitchell joined the Commercial Building Services team in early 2017 as he continues to progress in his career in the construction services industry as a Design Build Project Manager.

Mark Reid

Chief Estimator

Mark Reid has more than 35 years of construction experience, including commercial, industrial, and residential and has been with Commercial Building Services, Inc. for over 14 years. Mark studied Construction Management at Colorado State University, and has done work for the private sector as well as DOD, DOE, and many state and federal buildings and facilities. Projects have ranged in size from $50,000 to over $100 million.
